Harry Lillis ' Bing' Crosby was born in Tacoma,
Washington, this date in 1914. His is the most
electronically recorded in history. He starred in 'The
Bing Crosby Show' as retired entertainer 'Bing Lillis'
for one season in 1964. Beverly Garland played his
wife. Bing died of a heart attack on a golf course in
Spain October 14, 1977.

Gerald David 'Lorenzo' Music was born in
Brooklyn in 1937. The voice of Garfield in cartoons
and the unseen and always inebriated 'Carlton the
Doorman' on TV's 'Rhoda,' he and his wife wrote the
theme song to 'The Bob Newhart Show.' Lorenzo
also voiced 'Larry the Crash-Test Dummy' in the '70s.
Jack Burns was the voice of 'Larry.' Lorenzo died of
cancer in 2001.
